Rans suggests to apply some kind of corrosion protection on the clips before they are mounted. I decided to go a bit further and apply both etching primer and black Rust-Oleum gloss black paint to the ribs. Of course, this required more time than I anticipated.
Installed rib clips on spars per manual requirements. Did not final rivet ribs #1, #2, and #8. For #1 & #2 wanted to make sure I have adequate room to final install gas tanks. For rib #8, this required a decent amount of effort to properly cut the ribs to accommodate for the rib being riveted to the bell-crank assembly.
